Namba is centrally located in the Minami area of Osaka (Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, Nipponbashi).
It can be reached in about 40 minutes by the Nankai train line from Kansai International Airport, Kansai’s gateway to the skies. Many foreign tourists flock to Osaka, a great sightseeing hub.
Buildings directly connected to Nankai Namba Station include Takashimaya Osaka, Namba CITY, Swissotel Nankai Osaka, among others.
In addition, Namba SkyO, an urban complex with a convention hall and other facilities, is directly connected to Nankai Namba Station, making it a gathering place for domestic and foreign businessmen.
The commercial buildings Namba Marui and Edion Namba are found on the north side of Nankai Namba Station. You’ll find fashion accessories, clothes, shoes, and bags, as well as the latest home appliances.
Nankai Namba Station, Osaka Metro Namba Station, Kintetsu Namba Station, and Kintetsu Nippombashi Station are all connected via an underground mall, so you can easily change trains and not worry about inclement weather.
In the Minatomachi area, which is located slightly west of Namba, are JR Namba Station and express bus terminals.

Also, on the south side of Nankai Namba Station, is “Namba Parks,” built on the site of the former Osaka stadium. In addition to restaurants, cafes, fashion and household goods shops, this complex includes a movie theater and office buildings. There is a lush garden on top of the building, so it is a worthwhile place where you can enjoy nature in the city.
